These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of myancestors.co (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

myancestors.co provides AI-assisted heritage analysis based on a photo you upload. Results are illustrative phenotypic estimations, not DNA tests or medical analyses. You should not rely on them for legal, genetic, or medical decisions.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & billing

The service is offered as a recurring subscription. Today you will be charged €2.95 for 5-day access to the full report. After 5 days, your subscription automatically renews every 4 weeks at €27.95 until you cancel. All prices include applicable taxes where required.

Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your account settings. Access remains active through the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for our refund window.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload photos of third parties without their consent, or images that are illegal, offensive, or infringe intellectual property rights.

5. Intellectual property

The service, branding, and generated reports remain our property. You retain ownership of the photos you upload; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to generate your report.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance.
